The kidnapping of Charles Lindbergh Jr. was very upsetting to the American people and united for this tragic event. Due to the family's celebrity status, this kidnapping and trial was very well known and demanded justice as well as, opened the publics eyes and emotions for punishment.Charles Lindbergh:

Charles Lindbergh Jr:
- Charles Lindbergh Jr was only 20 months old when he was kidnapped from his home.
- He is son of wealthy and famous Anne Morrow Lindbergh.
- He was kidnapped on March 1, 1932 in New Jersey.
- There was a ransom note demanding 50,000 dollars left where the baby was taken.

The Kidnapper:
- The kidnapper sent 13 ransom notes to the family demanding money and with instructions about where the next note will be located.
- In the 9th ransom note, the kidnapper demanded 100,000 dollars, which the family didn't have.
- In the 12th note the kidnapper demanded to meet with someone in Martha Vineyard and take just 50,000 dollars.
- Dr. John F. Condon (a retired school principal from the Bronx) decided to meet with the kidnapper and give him his money, in return Dr. Condon received a note saying where the baby is located.


The Death of Charles Lindbergh Jr.
:
- The body of the kidnapped baby was found May 12 1932.
- He was found partly buried and badly decomposed about 4 miles from the Lindbergh's home.
- The baby's head was crushed, there was a hole in the skull and some of the body parts were missing.
- The Coroner's examination showed that the child died from a blown to the head.
